How much technology is too much? Or better yet, what technology should we be teaching children in our schools? I personally love tech and electronics. My favorite stuff revolves around video makings. Being a wanna be actor, I have made my fair share of Star Wars and James Bond spoofs. With so many technological devices to choose from, how do we decide what to use in our classrooms? And then, how do we get the funding? The other part of me also wonders about the lost arts. Does anyone know how to write in cursive anymore? Can kids even read cursive (I can’t read my own)? Maybe we should have an elective in ancient technologies – typewriters, record players, telegraphy, cassette tapes, key punch, and parchment to name a few.
